So to union those two prevention units into one unit 00:01:33.666 --> 00:01:35.699 I simply click the button 00:01:35.700 --> 00:01:41.033 and now you'll see a message pops up. It says that we're going combine these selected prevention units into one 00:01:41.033 --> 00:01:44.566 and to take note that it's going delete the source units. 00:01:44.566 --> 00:01:49.266 So these individual prevention units will now be deleted. 00:01:49.266 --> 00:02:00.832 And so to simply complete the task all I have to do is click "union selected" 00:02:00.833 --> 00:02:05.533 and now you'll notice that the division between the two prevention units have been dissolved and 00:02:05.533 --> 00:02:11.033 this is all one prevention unit and up here my prevention units box, 00:02:11.033 --> 00:02:16.466 it says "Unioned from: Hualapai IR Northeast and Hualapai IR Southwest" 00:02:16.466 --> 00:02:21.699 So it tells as which two prevention units have been unioned. 00:02:21.700 --> 00:02:28.266 So now lets do these two that are separated from each other that are not adjacent and see what that looks like. 00:02:28.266 --> 00:02:31.532 So if click on the Havasupai 00:02:31.533 --> 00:02:39.299 which is this one here, you can see it's highlighted, and the Kaibab; now you see these two that they don't touch each other 00:02:39.300 --> 00:02:47.833 But now I've got them selected and I can union those into one prevention unit. So again, I select the union selected button 00:02:47.833 --> 00:02:52.833 and a message comes up to tell me what action I'm taking 00:02:52.833 --> 00:03:03.066 and I do have the option to cancel at this point, but I'm going to go ahead and select "Union Selected" prevention units, 00:03:03.066 --> 00:03:05.132 and there you go. 00:03:05.133 --> 00:03:11.366 and so now when I click this, you can see that these two separate polygons now have been unioned 00:03:11.366 --> 00:03:14.832 into one prevention unit. Then I'm gonna click here 00:04:00.833 --> 00:04:09.333 and now you can see it brings up in the dialog box over here the description. So I can come in and edit and I can just take out 00:04:09.333 --> 00:04:11.766 the "Unioned from" 00:04:11.766 --> 00:04:15.132 and click "Update" 00:04:15.133 --> 00:04:20.399 and now I have that new name for that prevention unit that I unioned 00:04:20.400 --> 00:04:25.700 and if I want to do the other one I can do the same thing.
